CALLING ALL CHEFS, PUBS, BARS, CAFES, FOOD PRODUCERS AND MORE… GOOD FOOD MONTH 2014 IS ON ITS WAY

Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra: Australia’s largest food festival returns Brisbane: first-ever Good Food Month!

Australia’s biggest food festival, which last year attracted more than 1.5 million people, will be even bigger in 2014 with Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra to be joined by Brisbane for the first time in July.

Audiences already familiar with The Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Month presented by Citi, The Canberra Times Good Food Month presented by Citi and The Age Good Food Month presented by Citi will be excited to learn that Queensland will join the family with the BrisbaneTimes Good Food Month presented by Citi making its debut.

Good Food Month in NSW and the ACT returns for October, while celebrations in Melbourne and regional Victoria roll out across November 2014.

Restaurants, bars, pubs, cafes, chefs, food producers and others wishing to be part of one – or all – of these exciting month-long celebrations of great food and drink, should go to goodfoodmonth.com now to register their interest and submit their event ideas.

"Our appetite for amazing food events never stops growing,” said Good Food Month Festival Director, Joanna Savill. “Brisbane has such a fantastic food scene and we're incredibly excited to see how Queensland has already embraced the idea, with great enthusiasm from key chefs and food businesses. And the new Night Noodle Markets at South Bank are set to go off!"

Good Food Month highlights the incredible creativity, diversity, quality and innovation of each city’s metropolitan and regional food and drinks scene with signature events including the iconic Night Noodle Markets, Shoot the Chef, Let’s Do Lunch and Hats Off Dinners.

There will be pop-ups and parties, kitchen garden tours and high teas, cooking classes, food forums and much more – harnessing the talent and creativity of the best and brightest from around Australia and beyond.

"We saw almost 1.5 million people join the celebrations during Good Food Month in Sydney and Melbourne last year. This year, well, the sky’s the limit."
Savill added.

Early bird registrations close:

• Sydney/Melbourne/Canberra: May 2
