Five things in five minutes

Twitter ups the ante on live video, Google Shops the Look and Skype looks to team chat.

Here’s five things in five minutes to wrap up your week.

In another move to prioritise friends over other content, social media giant Facebook is testing a new feature, “What Friends Are Talking About”.

Have you ever wanted to search for an outfit from an image? Well now you can with Google’s new search function - Shop the Look.

The new function aims to take a slice of Instagram’s visually-led shopping pie.

In a move to up the ante in the live video stakes, Periscope and Twitter have announced a new collaboration feature for brands to partner with live video creators.

Twitter improves publishers’ tweet embedding system, showcasing tweets as a ‘new way to tell stories’. The customisable tweet grid is available now for use, so check it out on your curation platform.

Office conversations could soon be more intuitive with the leaked announcement of Skype Teams. The cloud based, team communication tool is currently being tested internally at Microsoft.
